Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka announced that ₹2,500 crore is being spent on temple development works across the State.
The government is allocating ₹2,000 crore specifically for temple development along the Godavari riverbank ahead of the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu festival next year.
Allocations include ₹276 crore for the Bhadrachalam temple and ₹354 crore for the Basar temple, alongside various welfare and infrastructure initiatives.
