Suicide Blast at Pakistan Peace Rally Kills 13

A suicide bomber killed 13 people and wounded 22 during a civil society protest near a police station in Pakistan's Swat district on August 2, 2026.

The casualties included eight police officers, while a 14th body, suspected to be the attacker, was recovered from the scene at the crowded intersection.

No group has claimed responsibility for the Swat attack, which follows a separate TTP-claimed bombing in Peshawar that wounded four police officers on the same day.
