Hong Kong pro-democracy activist Joshua Wong received a 10-year prison sentence for conspiring to collude with foreign forces under the national security law.
The 30-year-old was previously set for release in January 2027; the High Court reduced an initial 13-year sentence by three years citing relevant factors.
Wong, a former student leader, has spent nearly six years in custody and was previously convicted in a separate national security case in 2024.
