Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy challenged BRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao to a two-day Assembly discussion in December regarding the Kaleshwaram project and Godavari waters.
Speaking in Vikarabad district, Revanth Reddy accused the previous BRS government of failing to complete major irrigation projects and prioritizing Kaleshwaram over the Pranahita project.
The Chief Minister also cautioned farmers about a potential El Niño-induced drought and advised them to cultivate short-duration, less water-intensive crops.
