Turkish club Trabzonspor has officially launched transfer negotiations for 34-year-old forward Mohamed Salah, who is currently a free agent after departing Liverpool this summer.
Chairman Ertugrul Dogan stated that Salah is expected to arrive in Istanbul for medical examinations on Wednesday, with a contract signing potentially occurring as early as Thursday.
Salah leaves Liverpool after nine years, having scored 257 goals in 442 appearances and winning the English Premier League twice and the UEFA Champions League once during his tenure.
