John Ternus Appointed as New Apple CEO Succeeding Tim Cook

John Ternus has officially taken over as the CEO of Apple, succeeding Tim Cook, who served in the role since 2011 and will remain as executive chairman.

Ternus previously served as the Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering, where he led the development of major products including the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro.

The leadership transition follows Cook's tenure, which began in 1998, with Ternus now overseeing the company's hardware-focused strategy and future product roadmap.
