Kokila Kaushik Wins Historic Silver Medal at Asian Para Games

Indian para-judoka Kokila Kaushik won the silver medal in the women's J2-52 kg category at the Asian Para Games in Japan.

This achievement marks the first silver medal won by an Indian woman para-judoka at the Asian Games, improving upon her bronze from Hangzhou.

Kaushik secured a golden-score victory over reigning world champion Yi Liu of China before falling in the final against Kyrgyzstan’s Aibike Ulanbek Kyzy.
