Apple Pay set to launch in India next month with Axis Bank partnership

Apple is reportedly poised to launch its mobile payment service, Apple Pay, in India in October 2026.

The service is expected to roll out initially on Axis Bank credit cards, allowing users to make contactless payments via FaceID or TouchID.

India represents one of Apple's fastest-growing smartphone markets, where its market share has doubled to 8% since 2022.
