The DMK passed a resolution on Saturday demanding the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged voter name deletions under the Special Intensive Revision.
The party also advocated a return to paper ballots to restore electoral credibility following reported discrepancies between electronic voting machines and VVPAT slips.
The DMK further decided to petition the President for the complete cancellation of the revision exercise prior to the upcoming Assembly elections.
