US Launches 'Operation Economic Outcast' Targeting Iran's Trade Partners

The United States has initiated 'Operation Economic Outcast' to impose secondary sanctions on countries and entities that continue to trade with Iran.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated that at least 60 entities across the Middle East, Asia, and Europe are targeted in the new campaign to sever Iran's economic lifelines.

President Donald Trump warned in an August 19 post that any country providing financial or business support to Iran will face tremendous economic consequences.
