Deepak Kumar moves out of Bihar CMO to disaster authority

Retired IAS officer Deepak Kumar has been removed as Principal Secretary to Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary in a major administrative reshuffle.

Kumar, a 1984-batch officer, was the last prominent official remaining from the Nitish Kumar-era Chief Minister's Secretariat.

He has now been appointed Vice-Chairman of the Bihar State Disaster Management Authority in the latest state rearrangement.
