Garment exports from Tiruppur exceeded ₹46,000 crore during the last financial year, according to the Tiruppur Exporters Association.
Knitwear exports registered a 2.49% growth over the previous year, with Tiruppur accounting for 54.74% of India's total knitwear exports.
Association president K.M. Subramanian stated that the cluster is exploring manmade fibre garments, technical textiles, and performance wear to boost future exports.
