India's gross GST collections surged 22.9 percent year-on-year to reach ₹2,31,290 crore in October, marking the second-highest monthly tally since July 2017.
The revenue spike was led by a 42.2 percent annualised growth in import-linked GST collections at ₹72,246 crore.
Net collections after refunds of ₹27,934 crore registered a 25.6 percent growth to reach ₹2,03,356 crore compared to the previous year.
