Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu met with Delhi University women's college principals to review student safety measures.
Authorities were directed to strengthen street lighting, expand CCTV coverage, and conduct safety audits around educational institutions.
The directives also include appointing dedicated nodal police officers, removing stationary buses and encroachments, and deploying emergency response apps.
