Police arrested 38-year-old Rajkumar Rajbhar in Uttar Pradesh's Mau district for allegedly procuring a death certificate to fake his own demise in court.
The accused staged a goat funeral in Ghazipur and used an AI-generated image of a body on a pyre to evade legal proceedings in a 2016 murder case.
Police reported that Rajbhar had also collected stock market investment funds from prominent individuals across multiple cities before going into hiding.
