Seven judicial officers took oath as Delhi High Court judges administered by Chief Justice DK Upadhyaya, raising its total strength to 50 against a sanctioned 60.
Nivedita Anil Sharma and Nisha Sahay Saxena were appointed as permanent judges, while five others were sworn in as additional judges.
The Central Government notified the seven appointments on Saturday after the Supreme Court collegium had recommended eight names on September 10.
