China Proposes Five-Point AI and Smart Manufacturing Initiative for BRICS

Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed a five-point AI and smart manufacturing initiative for BRICS countries during the second session of the summit in New Delhi.

Xi called on BRICS nations to rally the Global South to ensure the international order remains free from double standards and the logic of might makes right.

China's proposals include establishing a BRICS AI open-source community, a special economic zone partnership, a digital ecosystem cloud platform, and a science and technology talent development initiative.
