Cloudflare Releases Kitesurf Browser Optimized for AI Agents

Cloudflare launched Kitesurf, a specialized web browser designed for AI agents that runs on the company's Workers platform to minimize CPU and memory usage.

The browser is currently available in beta via the Browser Run service and supports the Chrome DevTools Protocol for automated tasks like page extraction and screenshots.

Cloudflare noted that the project began twelve weeks ago and currently lacks support for video playback, WebGL, and sites protected by bot-challenge systems.
