Manchester City has reached an agreement with French club Lille to sign 18-year-old Moroccan midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi for a reported fee of $163 million AUD.
The deal, which is set to become Lille's all-time record sale, includes a five-year contract with an option for an additional season to bolster City's midfield under manager Enzo Maresca.
Bouaddi, who debuted for Lille at age 16 in 2023, was a key performer for Morocco during their run to the quarter-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
