UEFA Chief Ceferin Calls for FIFA President Infantino to Resign

UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin has publicly urged FIFA president Gianni Infantino to resign or face a leadership challenge at the next FIFA Congress in March.

Ceferin ruled himself out as a successor, citing his commitment to UEFA and the need for higher credibility, while noting that Infantino's support has waned among football federations.

Infantino, who has held the position since 2016, is currently seeking re-election until 2031 by appealing directly to smaller national associations despite opposition from major regional blocs.
