Haryana Police Block Farmers' Delhi March at Khanauri Border

Haryana Police sealed the Khanauri border with multi-layer barricades on Sunday to prevent 51 farmers from continuing their 228-km 'Kisan Bachao Padyatra' toward Jantar Mantar in Delhi.

Samyukt Kisan Morcha leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal rejected an offer to meet the Haryana Chief Minister, insisting on a discussion with the Union agriculture minister regarding the proposed India-US trade deal.

Farmers plan to protest peacefully at the border until they secure a meeting, demanding that agriculture and allied sectors be excluded from the trade pact and seeking a legal guarantee for MSP.
