Actor Vijay Deverakonda strongly condemned an AI-generated deepfake video featuring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor from the 2024 film Devara circulating widely on social media.
Equating the act to the digital equivalent of sexual assault, Deverakonda called for the harshest possible legal consequences against those responsible without sparing anyone.
Jr NTR earlier issued a statement demanding strict regulations from state governments and the Government of India against the malicious misuse of artificial intelligence.
