Hampshire and England fast bowler John Turner has retired from professional cricket at age 25 due to a persistent back stress fracture.
Turner represented England in two ODIs and two T20s during the 2024 West Indies tour, taking 97 wickets in 51 matches for Hampshire.
His 2023 T20 Blast performance, where he claimed 21 wickets at an average of 11.76, earned him his first international call-up before recurring injuries sidelined him for over a year.
