Yemen's Houthis Launch Missile Attacks on al-Makha and Marib

Yemen's internationally recognised government accused Houthi rebels of launching ballistic missile strikes on the port city of al-Makha and residential areas in Marib on Monday.

The escalation follows a Houthi drone strike in Shabwa province that killed two government soldiers and wounded seven others, adding to recent violence that has reignited the civil war.

UN envoy Hans Grundberg warned on Friday that the country faces its highest risk of large-scale conflict since the April 2022 truce, threatening to draw Yemen into a broader regional confrontation.
