Review: Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Apte Star in Crime Series 'Akka'

The YRF crime series Akka centers on an 800-year-old matriarchal syndicate controlling the criminal underworld and gold trade in Perunuru.

Keerthy Suresh plays the moralistic matriarch Bhavani, who faces a severe challenge from ruthless outsider Rudra, played by Radhika Apte.

The 5-episode series directed by Dharmaraj Shetty explores themes of caste divides, institutional power, and the mechanics of social hierarchy.
