Mohammed Shami Announces Retirement from Test Cricket

India pacer Mohammed Shami announced his retirement from Test cricket on Friday after repeatedly missing out on national selection.

The announcement came more than three years after his last appearance in the format during the World Test Championship final in June 2023.

Shami finishes his Test career having made his debut on November 6, 2013, and having taken 37 wickets in seven Ranji Trophy matches recently.
