Lead writer and director Heeraz Marfatia discussed his upcoming six-episode series Hunkkaar: The Roar, aimed at exploring hope and systemic change rather than just powerlessness.
Marfatia co-wrote all six episodes and directed two, managing complex character arcs, courtroom scenes, and a writers' room experience with collaborators over several months.
The series was produced following development greenlit by creators Nitya Mehra and Karan D. Kapadia, featuring an ensemble cast selected by casting director Mukesh Chhabra.
