Television actor Avika Gor has been hospitalized after battling dengue fever, which caused her temperature to reach 103–104 degrees for five consecutive days.
Despite her illness, Gor completed a two-day shoot in one day and traveled to Delhi for an ad campaign, surviving on ORS because she did not want to cause financial loss.
Her husband, Milind Chandwani, confirmed her diagnosis on Friday and requested prayers for her recovery after she was unable to stand or eat properly during her professional commitments.
