India Condemns Russian Drone Attack on Cargo Ship in Black Sea

India condemned a Russian drone strike on a Turkish-owned civilian cargo vessel in the Black Sea that injured one Indian crew member and killed two foreign nationals.

The Indian Embassy in Romania confirmed that three Indian nationals were onboard the MV Royad Mammadov, with the injured seafarer receiving medical attention in Constanta.

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar termed attacks on civilian shipping completely unacceptable and stressed that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only way forward.
