India Achieves 300 GW Non-Fossil Fuel Power Capacity Milestone

India has reached a significant milestone by achieving 300 GW of non-fossil fuel power generation capacity, moving closer to its long-term energy goals.

Solar energy currently accounts for more than 50% of the country's total non-fossil fuel capacity, driving the transition toward cleaner power sources.

This achievement comes ahead of the 2030 target, with renewable power generation across the nation having more than doubled in recent years.
