Audio clip emerges as key evidence in Nedumbassery luxury car crash probe

The Ernakulam Rural Police produced an audio clip sent by one of the four accused as digital evidence before the Ernakulam Additional District Court to oppose the bail applications of the accused.

In the clip, 19-year-old accused Joyal S. allegedly describes how driver Suhail Sajeev was heavily drunk and speeding at 165 kmph before hitting a scooter, killing three youths on October 11.

The Additional District Court heard arguments from the prosecution and defence on Monday and reserved its verdict on the bail pleas for October 28.
