Former India batter Cheteshwar Pujara has urged 24-year-old spinner Manav Suthar to maintain his red-ball bowling style and avoid altering his natural flighted delivery for the sake of IPL contracts.
Suthar, who took 10 wickets in the recent Galle Test to help India secure a 1-0 series lead, has played five IPL matches for the Gujarat Titans since 2024.
India aims for a series whitewash in the second Test against Sri Lanka, which is scheduled to begin on August 23, 2026, in Colombo.
