The Centre announced a pause on construction and demolition activities across Delhi-NCR from November 5 to 20 to curb air pollution during peak winter levels.
State government and private offices must operate with up to 50% physical staff while the rest work from home in Delhi and specified neighboring districts.
Infrastructure projects such as railways, metro services, airports, hospitals, water supply, and national security activities are exempted from these restrictions.
