ULIP Rejects Vehicle Data Misuse Claims, States Data Shared Masked

The Unified Logistics Interface Platform rejected allegations of misuse after the Road Ministry sought an audit of portals following complaints of vehicle data sales.

ULIP stated that all relayed vehicle information retains source masking, keeping owner names, chassis numbers, and engine numbers protected while mobile number fields remain null.

The Road Ministry has separately requested the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team to conduct a forensic audit of VAHAN, SARATHI, e-Challan, and PUCC portals.
