At least 2,000 protesters gathered in Connaught Place on Friday after police closed Central Park and denied permission for a Tiranga Yatra demanding the resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar.
The march, called by the Cockroach Janta Party and the AAP, followed a sweeping police crackdown last Saturday that detained nearly 7,000 people over electoral roll protests.
Police detained between 100 and 150 demonstrators throughout the day, including CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and AISA president Neha Bora.
