Skoda Auto is finalizing plans to launch two locally manufactured electric vehicles (EVs) in India, aiming to capture the growing domestic green mobility market.
The company is currently in advanced talks to secure an Indian manufacturing partner by the end of 2026 to share production risks and accelerate growth.
The first India-made Skoda EV is expected to roll out by 2028, marking a significant shift in the Volkswagen Group's regional strategy.
