Pakistani forces kill several Afghan Taliban fighters in border clash

Pakistani security forces killed several Afghan Taliban fighters in Balochistan's Gulistan sector on Thursday after they allegedly attempted to enter Pakistan and opened hostilities.

The border clash followed Pakistani aerial and drone strikes on 10 locations in Afghanistan on September 24, which the Taliban government said killed four civilians.

Pakistan Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said the strikes were launched in self-defence after drones entered Pakistan from Afghan territory on September 23.
