A suicide bombing at a roadside police checkpoint in Dera Ismail Khan on Saturday killed 11 people and injured at least 30 others, pushing Pakistan's blast death toll past 100 since February.
The Associated Press reported that the latest attack involved an explosives-laden vehicle targeting the checkpoint in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province amid a recent surge in militant violence.
Pakistan has faced multiple high-casualty incidents this year, including a February attack outside an Islamabad Shia religious centre and a Quetta railway track blast that killed over 24 people.
