Republican Senator Dan Sullivan's X campaign account @DanSullivan_AK was suspended on Friday night, just days before the November 3 midterm election.
Sullivan's campaign blamed Democratic opponent Mary Peltola's camp for reporting the account for impersonation, while Peltola's team denied any involvement.
The suspension occurred amid a federal probe into voter confusion caused by a separate candidate sharing the senator's name in the Alaska race.
