One Dead and Four Injured in Suspected Kuki-Naga Clash in Manipur's Kamjong

One Kuki man was killed and four others sustained bullet injuries in an exchange of fire between suspected Kuki and Naga armed groups near Chassad village on Saturday.

Security forces including the Assam Rifles, Border Security Force, and local police were deployed to the Kamjong district to bring the situation under control.

The Committee on Tribal Unity condemned the attack on civilians, while official sources stated that the specific identities and motives behind the firing remain unclear.
