Chirag Paswan Demands Jitan Ram Manjhi's Resignation Over Quota Dispute

Union Minister Chirag Paswan demanded the resignation of colleague Jitan Ram Manjhi after HAM(S) advocated for a review of the reservation policy and the introduction of sub-quotas.

Paswan rejected the 'creamy layer' concept for SCs, stating that if Manjhi and his son, minister Santosh Kumar Suman, support economic criteria for reservation, they should forfeit their own benefits.
