The United Forum of Bank Unions deferred its nationwide strike scheduled for September 28 to 30 following assurances from the Indian Banks’ Association.
A high-level committee will be formed between both sides to examine the long-pending demand to declare all Saturdays as holidays for bank employees.
Discussions will also commence on the Performance Linked Incentive scheme for officers and other pending matters from the March 2024 wage settlement.
