Tamil Nadu Authorities Seize Narcotics Worth Over Rs 18 Crore in Two Operations

Law enforcement authorities in Tamil Nadu seized narcotics valued at over Rs 18 crore in separate operations in Tuticorin and at Chennai International Airport.

Police recovered 67 kg of hashish oil worth Rs 17 crore in Tuticorin, where four local men allegedly planned to smuggle the consignment by boat to the Maldives.

In Chennai, Customs officials intercepted an incoming female passenger from Kuala Lumpur and seized 3.42 kg of hydroponic ganja worth Rs 1.2 crore concealed in her baggage.
