Four CISF personnel were killed in a suspected fratricide incident on Tuesday following indiscriminate firing by an officer at the Sewa-III power project in Kathua district.

The victims included assistant commandant Ankit Kumar Pandey, SI Lakshman Singh, and constables Rafiq Ahmed and Sandeep Kumar, who succumbed to injuries at NHPC Hospital.

The accused, head constable Abhidesh Singh, used an AK-47 during the altercation, was overpowered by colleagues, and subsequently arrested by police.
