Mysterious Tunnel Discovered at Hyderabad's Golconda Fort

A tunnel was discovered during excavation work by the Indian Army at the 400-year-old Qutb Shahi graveyard and playground area in Golconda Fort.

Karwan MLA Kausar Mohiuddin reported the discovery to the Archaeological Survey of India after alleging that the Army was conducting illegal excavations at the site.

The fort, dating back to the Kakatiya and Qutb Shahi dynasties, has long been the subject of local rumors regarding secret passages connecting to landmarks like Charminar.
