OpenAI Launches ChatGPT Images 2.5 with Sketch Feature

OpenAI released ChatGPT Images 2.5, an update featuring faster generation speeds and a new Sketch tool that allows users to draw reference layouts on touchscreens.

The model comes in two variants: GPT-Image-2.5 Flare for high-speed tasks and GPT-Image-2.5 Sunburst for high-precision creative work, both available now on desktop and mobile.

The update improves image stability during iterative edits and includes C2PA metadata and invisible watermarking to help identify AI-generated content and prevent deepfakes.
