Binance resumed withdrawals of Bitcoin, Ether, and stablecoins on Sunday after hackers stole approximately $6.3 billion in cryptocurrency from the platform.
The exchange covered about 95% of the stolen amount by using company funds to buy replacement tokens, with the first phase restoring withdrawals for 15 cryptocurrencies.
The FBI attributed the cyberattack to North Korean state-sponsored group TraderTraitor, while Binance co-CEO Richard Teng described the incident as a complex breach.
