Kellenberg Upsets Chaminade in Long Island Football Opener

Kellenberg defeated Chaminade 21-10 on Saturday, marking the team's first victory over their rivals in five years during the CHSFL season opener.

The Firebirds' defense secured the win with two touchdowns, including a 15-yard fumble return by Christian Eleazar and a 70-yard interception return by William Auerbach.

First-year starting quarterback Brayden Farrelly completed 15 of 20 passes for 120 yards and added a 1-yard rushing touchdown to seal the victory in the fourth quarter.
