Israel destroys large underground Hezbollah base in southern Lebanon

The Israeli military announced it destroyed a large underground Hezbollah complex beneath the Ali Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon using over 1,000 tonnes of explosives.

The massive blast triggered seismic activity equivalent to a magnitude 4.1 earthquake, according to the US Geological Survey.

The targeted infrastructure contained a command centre, dozens of rockets, missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, and explosives accumulated over two decades.
