Parents have launched a petition against St Mary’s School in Gerrards Cross, opposing plans to admit boys starting in September 2027 and expand nursery intake to two-year-olds.
The school, which charges nearly £28,000 annually, intends to transition to co-education in a phased approach, beginning with prep-school year groups and Years 7 and 12.
Headmaster Lars Fox stated the decision followed extensive market research and surveys, noting that the school will hold information sessions for parents throughout the upcoming week.
